The inspiration
The Danish company OYOY Living Design A/S was founded in January 2012 by the Danish designer Lotte Fynboe. Classic, functional and timeless, the collection offers unique details and captivating color combinations. Inspired by traditional Danish design, the products are inspired by Lotte Fynboe's own childhood memories. Based on these memories, unique products are created with an emphasis on getting form and functionality to play together.
Where does the name OYOY come from?
THE NAME OYOY // The name OYOY Living Design is inspired by the letters OY, which since 1929 have been the emblem on all Danish aircraft. So regardless of where in the world the Danish planes are located, the feeling and belonging to Denmark is essential. OYOY are proud of their roots and the letters OY denote the Danish heritage.
